Discern the true.
Bring the false to light.
THE HEART BEHIND THIS MINISTRY
Revealing the true.
Exposing the false.
Shepherding the heart.
There is a sacred responsibility in saying, “Thus saith the Lord.”
These words call us to examine what is spoken in God’s name. Scripture must shape our understanding, Christ must remain our focus, and love must govern how we speak.
The Prophetic exists to help people recognize the character and message of faithful prophetic ministry, expose falsehood and manipulation, and grow in confidence in God’s Word. Correction must carry a pastoral heart: protecting the vulnerable, calling people to repentance, and seeking restoration.
Rooted in Scripture. Accountable in ministry. Pastoral in heart.

How Scripture teaches us to weigh prophetic claims with openness and care.

The pastoral responsibility to correct faithfully and seek restoration.
Ephesians 4:11–16 ↗THE WEIGHT OF “GOD SAID”
When imagination
speaks in God’s name.
Jeremiah warned of prophets who spoke visions from their own hearts. The danger remains serious whenever personal ambition, flattery, or the desire for an audience is presented as divine authority.
A claim to revelation must be examined. Sincerity, confidence, and popularity cannot settle whether a message is true. Scripture calls us to weigh what is spoken and to consider the fruit.

Pause. Examine.
Hold fast to truth.
Spiritual discernment grows as we learn to ask honest questions in the light of Scripture.
Read the foundational study ↗Does it agree with Scripture?
A prophetic claim cannot overturn the teaching of Scripture. Read passages in context, and allow the whole counsel of God’s Word to shape your judgment. See 2 Timothy 3:16–17.
Does it direct people toward Christ?
Consider whether the message encourages faithfulness to Jesus or dependence on the messenger. Christian ministry serves the growth of the body in Christ. See Ephesians 4:11–16.
Can it be weighed and questioned?
Paul instructed the church to weigh what prophets said. Healthy ministry welcomes careful examination and takes responsibility for its words. See 1 Corinthians 14:29.
What fruit does it produce?
Look beyond the immediate excitement. Consider the messenger’s conduct and the lasting direction of the teaching: obedience, love, humility, and faithfulness. See Matthew 7:15–20 and Galatians 5:22–23.
